The Artist

Pat Echols Saunders grew up on a farm in Monroe County, West Virginia. The memories of that time and the influence of the beauty of the countryside have become the basis for the paintings she creates.

 

Using acrylic paint, Pat carefully blends her own imagination with actual settings to capture forever glimpses of beauty everyone can enjoy.

 

Pat received her B.S. degree in Interior Design from Virginia Tech in 1987. She later received her teaching certificate in Art from Lynchburg College.

 

Pat now resides in Central Virginia. Her work can be seen by appointment at her studio/residence in Piney River, Virginia.
